Lys d'Avril is a small-scale holiday domain between the rolling hills and forests of the Haute-Vienne, on the edge of the Corrèze. You will find two beautifully renovated gites with kitchens that will delight cooking enthusiasts and a trendy loft. Thanks to the spacious garden with heated swimming pool, this is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday and dogs are also welcome here!
The perfect holiday moment comes when the countryside slowly turns gold in the evening sun. You're drinking wine. The children play football or badminton in the large enclosed garden. And later you will bounce a ball together on the jeu de boules court or take a last dip in the pool...
From 2024 you can order a French breakfast. The bar is open in the afternoon and on Friday evening we organize a pizza evening and every 2nd day of the week you can join the table d'hôtes, with dishes from a local supplier.
Spending the night with us during your transit further south ensures that your holiday has already started.

Bij Lys d’Avril hoef je aan het einde van de dag niet meteen op pad. Haal een koud drankje, een glas wijn of een cocktail in onze gezellige bar en zoek een fijn plekje op het terrein. Terwijl de kinderen nog een potje badminton of jeu de boules spelen of een laatste duik nemen, begint de avond vanzelf.
Bar & pizza-avond
Overdag en aan het begin van de avond is onze bar dé plek voor een cappuccino, een fris drankje, een biertje, wijn of een lekkere cocktail. En eens per week? Dan hebben we een pizza-buffet en maken we er samen een gezellige zomeravond van.

Naast de bar vind je ons kleine winkeltje met brocante, sieraden en andere leuke vondsten. Gewoon lekker even rondneuzen — misschien vind je wel iets om mee naar huis te nemen als herinnering aan je vakantie.
Vakantie mag tenslotte best een beetje makkelijk zijn.
The imousin

In the south-west of France lies the Limousin, known for Limousin cows and porcelain from Limoges. A green hilly region in the foothills of the Massif Central where, unlike other parts of France, there are far fewer tourists. We are situated between two nature parks, Millevaches and Périgord-Limousin near the Dordogne. In both parks you can take lovely walks and enjoy unspoilt nature. Eating, shopping and soaking up culture are all possible in the Limousin.
From our domain many medieval villages can be visited within half an hour, such as Uzerche, Turenne or Segur le Chateau, but also the university city of Limoges and the Mediterrenian city of Brives la Gaillarde with their many restaurants, shops and museums are close by.
