Even the Garden of Eden had its rules, so our own little heaven has its own. Please make sure you are aware of our Terms and Conditions.
DEPOSITS
While we are delighted to take a booking by telephone or email, please note that we do require written confirmation of your booking, together with a 30% deposit within 4 days of making the reservation. This is your guarantee that your Cottage and all our facilities will be available to you upon arrival. We understand that the best laid plans can sometimes be forced to be altered; in the event of a cancellation prior to the commencement date of the stay the full amount of the deposit becomes payable.
PAYMENT
We regret not being able to accept payment by credit cards. Deposits therefore should be sent by cheque drawn on your bank in your own currency. We will hold this as a guarantee of your arrival and we will return it on the day of your departure. For our clients who do not hold a French bank account, please note that payment in cash for your stay can be accepted. Unfortunately the system in France will not allow for payments by Eurocheques and Travellers Cheques.
GUESTS' RESPONSIBILITIES
We have put the utmost care in choosing the luxurious furnishings and facilities in your apartment and we make sure that everything is in perfect working order as a basic sign of respect for our guests. Whilst we do not require a damages deposit, we thank our guests in advance for bringing any breakages to our attention and paying for any damages. Breakages and damages discovered after guests' departure will be charged subsequently.
SERVICES
Our apartment prices include a week’s supply of bed linen and luxurious face and bath towels. Included in the price are also electricity (over 12kw per day: additional) , water, logs for the fire.
For the duration of a week’s-plus stay bed linen is changed weekly and towels every 3 days.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
We will be delighted to welcome you at any time of the day and in order to do that we ask that you let us know if you plan to arrive before 3 p.m. or later than 8:30 p.m. Usual departure time for our guests is 11 a.m. Should you require an earlier or later departure, please let us know so that may do our best in accommodating your needs, in regard to breakfast and our next arriving guests.
CANCELLATION
If notice of cancellation is received before the commencement date of the stay, the full amount of the deposit is payable.
Should the stay have to be terminated earlier than notified, the full price for the booked period will be payable.
PETS
Strictly exceptionally house-trained dogs and those that have been well socialized with other dogs are allowed on the premises, upon the discretion of the Proprietors.
CHILDREN
For reasons of health and safety of our Guests, we have to apply certain age restrictions. The nature of the site makes it unsuitable for babies and children under 12 years old. In exceptional circumstances, parties with younger children may be permitted at the discretion of the Proprietors and on the strict understanding that the parents/guardians of young children will maintain an appropriate level of supervision at all times while on site, and that every effort will be made to maintain the peace and tranquility of the site. Please feel free to discuss your requirements with us.
VISITORS
Access to the accommodation and to the site and its amenities is restricted to Guests as notified in the original booking. Under no circumstances should Guests invite visitors to the site without the prior permission of the Proprietors. A charge of 10 € per day (or part thereof) will be made for visitors to the site. This includes access to on site amenities but does not include overnight accommodation. Unless agreed with the Proprietors in advance, Guest substitution during the course of a stay is not permitted.
AMENITIES
The Proprietors are not held responsible for:-
- Any loss or inconvenience that may be suffered as a consequence of any unforeseen inability to provide the specified accommodation and/or the on site amenities.
- Any loss or inconvenience that may be suffered as a consequence of any unforeseen breakdown in the supply of any mains services or equipment in the rooms.
- Any loss or inconvenience that may be suffered as a consequence of any unforeseen breakdown in the pumping/filtration or any other equipment used in the swimming pool.
- Any injury to Guests, or loss or damage to their personal belongings, including cars and contents, arising on site. Use of the accommodation and the on site amenities is entirely at the Guest’s risk.

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the details provided are accurate, the representations and descriptions will not give rise to any liability on the part of the Proprietors.
