Lys d’avril couldn’t be easier to reach, whether you want to fly to Limoges airport, take the train to Limoges train station or drive. We’d be happy to let you have details.

We are located 30 minutes south of Limoges airport and train station. Ryanair and FlyBE fly regularly to Limoges from all major UK airports. Alternatively, Ryanair, EasyJet and British Airways fly direct to Poitiers, Clermont-Ferrand, Bergerac or Bordeaux (all within less of a 2-hour drive from Lys d’avril).

At Limoges Airport you may hire a car (Europcar, Budget, Avis, Hertz) as well as Classic Sports Cars.

If coming from Paris by car, take the A10 (Paris-Orleans) motorway. From Orleans, keep heading south, connecting with the A71 (Orleans-Vierzon) motorway. From here, continue south on the A20 motorway all the way to Limoges and then on to exit 41 on the A20 for GLANGES and Lys d’avril.

Bordeaux is 220 kms to the southeast on the D10, D13 and E606. Coming from Italy and the Mediterranean, follow the A8, A7, A9, A61 and A20.

Limoges has good train services from most regional cities, with direct trains from Paris and Toulouse. At least ten trains depart daily from Paris’ gare d’Austerlitz for Limoges. Trains from Toulouse’s Matabiau station go every two to three hours.




Lys d’avril is 30 minutes south of Limoges, the capital of Limousin.

  • On the A20/E09 motorway, take Exit 39.
  • At Roundabout take direction D15 Saint-Hilaire-Bonneval and follow this road.
  • Immediately past the cemetary on your right, make a right turn on to D82, Direction Saint-Geneste-sur-Roselle. Follow this road up to first stop sign and turn right following signpost Glanges.
  • Go past the church in St-Geneste-sur-Roselle and follow the same D82 road bending left, past sign "Stade".
  • Follow the road all the way past the wooden cross at the top of the hill and carry on straight.
  • Go past the two small bridges over the river Briance and follow to the top of the hill.
  • At the top of the hill, on the right hand side, turn right at the stone cross monument and follow the right side of the fork.
  • Lys d'avril is at 300 metres.
