Lys d'avril - Your getaway to nature

Lys d’avril is a beautiful restored stone barn built during the reign of Louis XVI. It has been lovingly converted into chambre d’hôte/gîte (giving you the flexibility to choose between our Bed & Breakfast service or self-catering option ). We are operating the Lime Tree Cottage for 2008 while the other two apartments will be available at a later point in the future. It is set in 5 hectares of gardens, meadows and woodland and is surrounded by the breathtaking Limousin countryside. The character it has accumulated with the patina of age makes for a perfect combination of the charm of the old with the comfort and convenience of the modern.

Lys d’avril provides the luxury experience of country living that is elegant as well as warm and friendly. Most importantly, we offer the privacy and feel of a private home.

The barn’s interior features gorgeous wooden floors, and cool handmade tiles, interior gallery, exposed stone and exposed ancient roof beams.

Breathtaking views of the countryside can be glimpsed from the windows and the apartments’ patio doors open onto views of the meadows and the swimming pool.

Seating areas and hammocks under the ancient trees provide shelter in the summer from a brilliant sun while you listen to the music of the wildlife.
